    Quick Installation Summary—Tesla-Style Screen (F-250, 350, 450 (2013-2016))

    Preparation

    • Ensure the vehicle is parked, ignition off, and battery disconnected (to avoid shorts or airbag issues).

    • Gather tools: trim removal tools (plastic), screwdrivers, socket set, and panel pry tools.

    1. Remove Factory Dash Panels

    • Carefully remove the trim around the centre stack using plastic pry tools.

    • Detach the climate control and radio trim panels.

    • Keep all screws and clips organized.

    2. Remove the OEM Screen/Radio

    • Unscrew the factory head unit mounting screws.

    • Gently pull the OEM unit forward to expose the wiring harnesses.

    • Disconnect all factory connectors (antenna, power, CAN bus, camera input, etc.).

    3. Prepare New Tesla-Style Unit

    • Unpack the Workshop 12 screen and harness.

    • Identify adapter harnesses: CAN bus module, power harness, antenna, GPS, mic, LTE/4G antennas.

    4. Connect Wiring Harnesses

    • Plug the vehicle’s factory harness into the supplied plug-and-play harness.

    • Attach:

      • Power and ground

      • CAN bus module (for steering wheel controls and vehicle data)

      • OEM camera and reverse trigger

      • GPS and antennas

      • MIC for hands-free calling

      • FM/AM leads

    • Ensure all connectors click fully into place.

    5. Fit New Screen into Dash

    • Slide the new Tesla-style screen assembly into the dash opening.

    • Adjust orientation so it fits flush and aligns with OEM mounting points.

    • Secure with the screws from the factory unit.

    6. Reinstall Dash Panels

    • Reattach all trim panels, ensuring each clip/snapped edge seats properly.
