How to keep your odometer from blinking

If your odometer is blinking after installing the unit, this usually means a vehicle setting needs to be adjusted. Don’t worry this can be fixed quickly using the factory settings menu.

Follow the steps below to correct the setting and stop the odometer from blinking, or watch the YouTube short

1. Make sure the unit is properly plugged into the vehicle.
2. Go to the Apps page and open Car Settings.
3. Scroll down and select Factory Settings.
4. Enter the password 1617, then press Confirm.
   Note: Do not change other settings, as this may negatively affect the unit.
5. On the left side of the screen, scroll until you find Type Set.
6. Scroll down and select Jeep.
7. Ensure the setting is set to Compass 2010–2016 Gen 1 and that it is set to High.
