Create an incredible 10.1" in-dash experience in your 2013+ Genesis Coupe
Pre-Order Deposit Program

In order to get a new set of vehicle plastics up and off the ground Workshop 12 works with the community to establish enough deposits to start the program.

To begin the 3D scanning and design process Workshop 12 requires 50 pre-order deposits of $60 USD.

How Does the Deposit Program Work?

The program will run the same as the previous 370z program. Workshop 12 requires 50 deposits of $60 USD to start the project. No credit cards are charged until all 50 slots are filled.

Once all 50 slots are filled, customers will be notified and credit cards will be charged so that the R&D work of laser scanning and 3D modeling begins. Plastic design typically takes about 5-6 weeks.

Customers in the deposit program will then get their $60 USD deposit back via PayPal after ordering the final kit. Final kit pricing will be similar to other Brainiac plastic kits.

Shapeways Versatile Plastic is a durable nylon plastic that can be used for a wide range of applications, both for prototyping and for end products. Printed using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), when thin, it’s flexible enough for hinges and springs and when thick, it’s strong enough for structural components.

What do I need to get started?

The Brainiac custom fit plastics for the 2013+ Genesis Coupe will likely be designed to securely hold a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" tablet in your dashboard creating a sleek factory integrated look. Tablet selection will be based on what will fit in the factory dashboard. Once confirmed, the starting point will be to acquire one of these tablets if you do not already have one.

Layer the OEM pieces of your dashboard together with the Brainiac plastics for an incredible fit! NOTE: 350Z example shown
3D Laser Scanning

In order to get an OEM quality fit for Brainiac plastics Workshop 12 utilizes 3D laser scanning to get everything just right.

After laser scanning, a 3D model can be created to utilize all OEM mounting points, clips and screws to make the plastics seem like they should have been there in the first place!
